Terms and conditions

These terms apply to quotes given and work carried out by Ronan O'Toole Concrete Cutting, Gorey, Co. Wexford. By accepting a quote you agree to them.

Quotes

• Quotes are valid for 30 days and are based on the information and photos provided.
• If conditions on site differ from what was described (for example thicker concrete, extra reinforcement, or restricted access), the price may change. I will agree any change with you before continuing.
• Prices include VAT at the applicable rate unless stated otherwise.

Before the work

• You are responsible for confirming that the cut is structurally acceptable. Where an opening affects a load-bearing wall or slab, an engineer's design and temporary propping must be in place before cutting starts.
• You must tell me about any known services (electric cables, gas, water, heating pipes) in or near the cutting area. I will scan or check where practical, but cannot be liable for damage to services that were not disclosed.
• Please provide a water supply, electricity where needed, and clear access to the work area.

On the day

• Cutting is carried out wet to control dust. Water and slurry are contained and cleaned up as far as reasonably possible.
• Removal of cut sections and waste from site is not included unless stated in the quote.

Cancellations

Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or rearrange. Late cancellations may be charged a call-out fee.

Payment

Payment is due on completion for domestic work, and within 30 days of invoice for trade accounts unless agreed otherwise.

Liability

I hold public liability insurance. Liability is limited to the value of the work quoted, except where the law does not allow it to be limited. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
